We'VE GOT YOU COVERED FOR EVERY AGE AND STAGE
Emphasizing the entire complex of joints, muscles and nerves, Dr. Scicutella focuses on restoring and maintaining the health of your joints, muscles and nerves through the use of an adjustment. A spinal or extremity adjustment can restore normal movement, relieve pain and stimulate higher function of your brain and nervous system resulting in a renewed sense of vitality.

Individuals & Families
Our goal is to provide generational care. Chiropractic is the most effective way to restore nervous system communication and ensure optimal overall health.

Desk Warriors
Sitting long hours in front of a computer puts more pressure on your spine than standing. It can contribute to the cause sciatica, back pain, neck pain and carpel tunnel.
Road Warriors
For the serious athlete, Chiropractic provides the edge you need to stay ahead of the competition. For the weekend warrior, Chiropractic helps your system adapt to prevent injury.
Elders
For older patients, Chiropractic helps increase strength, range of motion, decrease pain, as well as helping address the cause of many health problems.
SERVICES WE PROVIDE
In order to provide the most individualized, comfortable and safe treatment, Dr. Scicutella employs a wide variety of techniques for our patients, including Diversified, Gonstead, Drop table, Activator, SOT blocking, Biophysics, and Flexion distraction therapy.
Diversified Technique (or Full-Spine Specific)
This is a widely used chiropractic manipulation/adjustment that entails a high velocity, low amplitude thrust to create cavitation of a joint (the “popping” noise often associated with a chiropractic adjustment).
Thompson Drop Table Technique
This technique uses a special table with several “drop-piece” segments. The drop pieces help with thrusting while minimizing the force needed for the manipulation/adjustment. Cavitation of the joint may or may not occur.
Activator or Spring-loaded Instrument
Here the adjusting force is applied by a percussive device that features a stylus tip. This technique is used for patents who prefer not to be manually manipulated/adjusted or where manual work may not be recommended.
Extremity Manipulating/Adjusting
In certain situations, chiropractic manipulation/adjustment can be applied beyond the spine – for example, on shoulders, elbows, wrists or knees. Examples of when Extremity Manipulating is used include carpal tunnel syndrome, gait problems, or posture-related problems.
Sacro-Occipital Technique (or Pelvic Blocking)
This low-force, slow-pressure manipulation/adjustment technique uses triangular blocks under the pelvis of the prone patient.
Flexion Distraction Therapy
This is a particular type of manipulation that decompress back discs using a series of repetitive slow movements – with no quick movement or “thrust”. Typically a gentle stretch or traction on the spine is used. This therapy is often used for people with disc herniations, non-disc spinal disorders, and to increase mobility of spinal joints.
